Joann Jimenez is a native New Yorker of Dominican decent, best known for her affiliations with Body & Soul, Wave Music, Deep Space NYC, Kazulo and ALMA .
She specializes in assembling cutting-edge art shows in unconventional spaces throughout New York City, and her experience includes coordinating a hip-hop conference for The Hip-Hop Hall of Fame at the Puck Building and collaborating on an anti-fashion show with Elanit Kayne during New York Fashion Week.
Among her many other projects, she co-founded an artist collective called The Melting Pot NYC. Her most recent art collaboration was with Emerging Arts - she curated a wonderful masterpiece called "Metamorphosis: A Haitian Tale" which included fine art, poetry and live music performances. Joann continues on a fulfilling path creating artistic atmospheres that bridge gaps between cultures, genres and ideals.
